As a certified attorney with over 8 years of experience, I offer professionally prepared legal documents at reasonable rates. However, I often encounter clients who initially choose cheaper services provided by paralegals, law students, or even non-legal freelancers with zero legal knowledge. These individuals may draft contracts, agreements, and other critical litigation documents at low prices, but the result is often riddled with errors.

Recently, a client approached me for two significant projects: an appeal brief and a motion for summary judgment. I provided a fair quote, much lower than what most local attorneys would charge, including detailed work with proper legal grounds, facts, a table of contents, and an index of authorities. However, as I expected, they opted for a cheaper seller. A few days later, they returned, asking me to fix the errors in the poorly prepared documents.

This trend is frustrating—not just for attorneys like me but also for clients. What seems like a "bargain" at first often ends up costing more in revisions, delays, and potential legal consequences. Serious legal matters require the expertise of certified professionals. Cutting corners with unqualified freelancers may save money initially, but it rarely pays off in the long run.

To the Fiverr community, I urge buyers to think critically when dealing with serious legal matters. While cost is a factor, the quality and accuracy of legal documents should be the top priority. Let’s work towards maintaining professionalism and trust in our marketplace.

Your legal matters deserve the expertise they demand. Don’t compromise on quality.
