Hi Everyone!

After a long break, I’m excited to reconnect and share my journey of achieving my first $1000 on Fiverr. It wasn’t always smooth sailing, but the experience taught me a lot. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for new ideas, I hope my tips and lessons will inspire you!

My Journey

I joined Fiverr in 2017, offering website development services. Initially, I struggled to get noticed. It felt like I was shouting into the void. But after tweaking my approach and being consistent, I landed my first order, which eventually led to more.

Tips That Worked for Me

  1. Crafting a Standout Gig

    • Clear and concise gig descriptions: Focus on what sets you apart.
    • Eye-catching visuals: Use professional images or videos that showcase your work.
    • Targeted keywords: Research what buyers in your niche are searching for.
  2. Pricing Strategically

    • Start small: I offered competitive rates initially to build my portfolio and gain reviews.
    • Offer value: Highlight what makes your service worth the price.
  3. Effective Communication

    • Be responsive: Quick replies build trust.
    • Ask the right questions: Understand your client’s needs before starting.
    • Exceed expectations: Deliver more than promised when possible.
  4. Promoting Outside Fiverr

    • Social media: Share your gig on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, or Twitter.
    • Networking: Let your existing network know about your services.
  5. Staying Consistent

    • Keep updating: Refresh your gig visuals, descriptions, and FAQs.
    • Stay active: Respond to buyer requests and engage with the Fiverr community.

Lessons Learned

  • Patience Pays Off: Orders won’t come overnight, but consistent effort will bring results.
  • Adapt and Learn: I adjusted my gigs based on analytics and buyer feedback.
  • Customer Experience Matters: Happy clients are more likely to leave positive reviews and recommend you to others.

Cheers,

Shubham D

I posted in wrong category that why I deleted and reposted it and where as of CHATGPT you must have used those online checkers to to see those are not 100% accurate even if you wrote abcd etc they will still show as AI written haha.  I can show you my earnings and all the knowledge I provided is real you can visit my profile and I can show you my earnings proof if you think the information I gave is false

Do you think adding ChatGPT will make people like you or that commenting on this post to expose fraud will earn you some recognition? Haha, improve your search techniques next time, buddy or at least visit sellers profile so that you will gain some knowledge of what you're commenting about

You don't need to prove anything to anyone, my friend, this is why I left a comment.

Newbies post such pointers usually. You're an experienced and successful seller - you can certainly post better stuff and actually enlighten others.

Hey brother, Thanks for sharing tips and guidelines. Don't worry about this person's comment as he always do the same on every single individual post. Ignore him, this is his job actually 😀

Did it take you eight years to earn your first $1000?

I agree with @priyank_mod. Your language reads like it is ChatGPT-ish, especially the first two paragraphs. Most people do not talk or write like that.

Well, honestly, I won't say anything about your personal opinion, but @priyank_mod Priyank's comments are the most technical and to the point if someone understands them properly.

Everyone has a different perspective of understanding. They only understand something to the extent they want to, beyond that, they are unable to comprehend it.

Did I write 8 years to achieve $1000 maybe you should reread it. I shared my experience with new sellers about what I did to reach my first $1000 and if you've read the whole post I've shown my total earnings as well

Oh, so you also wrote this comment using CHATGPT? Your words sound like AI as detected by AI detector So are you human or should I call you AI?

You've repeated the first sentence of the quote before checking it (probably because the quote was too short) so it isn't an accurate test since it isn't an actual quote of the post. Though I agree they're not fully accurate (I think Open AI said so too). They probably do better with a lot longer texts (that's probably why they put the minimum word/character count there).

Here's some of what perplexiy.ai said about accuracy of the detectors re: text length:

Quote

Accuracy for Short Texts

For very short texts, such as four sentences:

Many AI detectors struggle with accuracy or may not even process such short samples
Sapling's detector, for instance, notes that shorter texts are more likely to result in false positives
Some detectors have minimum character requirements. For example, Copyleaks AI Detector requires at least 255 characters for its web-based platform and 350 characters for its browser extension.

Accuracy for Longer Texts
For texts of one to two paragraphs or longer:

Accuracy improves significantly as the text length increases
In a comparison of various AI detectors, the average accuracy was found to be around 60%, with the best free tools achieving 68% accuracy and the best premium tool reaching 84% accuracy.
Some companies claim higher accuracy rates, such as Originality.ai's 99% claim, though independent testing often shows lower actual performance

Hi all, it's your crazy conspiracy thinking, tin foil hat wearing uncle here. I feel like you haven't realized yet. You're all AI!!!! Both of you and each of the commenters as well. We're living in a time where AI is used to drive engagement and make something look like an active topic. You all should look up "The Dead Internet Theory".

A bot is using AI to write a generic useless post. Another Bot uses AI to confirm the first bot used AI to write the post and then calls the first bot out. Then the 2 bots and additional bots have a conversation to drive engagement to a fake post by fake people written and confirmed by AI software. Hey guys .... yeah you! I just ran out of dip for my chips...... maybe if I take a picture of the shit in my fridge you can show me a recipe on how to make a new meal with what I have? Oh and I know what you're thinking ..... Yes I'm a bot and of course I used chatgpt to write of all this.

I read your title several times before I asked my question. Regarding your title, I wanted to know if your topic was the first $1,000 you ever made on Fiverr. Typically, posts of this kind include the author's total earnings and the ways they achieved that amount. I didn’t mean to offend you; it was a genuine question.

I read your post twice. I did not notice any mention of your total earnings. However, now I see you created a second post, which I skipped.

No, I did not write my comment with CHATGPT or use an AI detector to check if AI wrote your post. I stopped using AI detectors long ago because I realized how useless they are. My comment was based on my years of teaching English and proofreading many articles, blogs, letters, and books long before AI writing was a thing. Your post sounds ChatGPT-ish to me based on my experience.

Yes, I have many more years of experience with the English language than OP's age. That is why I have silver hair in my profile picture.  😉

Indeed, it is.

I could make many additional comments about your post and the validity of your points, @shubhamdahale; however, I will only add one statement. I have never used social media or promoted outside of Fiverr, yet I have been quite successful.

Responding to buyer requests when they stopped being a thing years ago is challenging. 😆

I used to be more active on the forum, but lately, I haven't been so much. Most of the people I knew moved on from here because of the mek-sells and users who offer the same old advice as if it were some new revelation.
