I recently logged back into my old Fiverr account after being inactive for the past two years. I've started optimizing some gigs, but a few of my friends have suggested creating a new account and deleting the old one.

What do you think is the better option: sticking with the old account and improving it, or starting fresh with a new account?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and advice!

They are misguiding you. Ask your friends to read the Terms of Services first before suggesting anything to anyone.

Kindly proceed with the existing/current account because you cannot create a new account as it's a violation of TOS.

You have been inactive on Fiverr for so long so it will take time to get the better results.

Old account: I’ve been here for years!
New account: Let’s pretend we don’t know each other…
Decisions, decisions... 😅 Maybe I’ll just optimize and hope for the best

Thank you for your question!

Creating multiple gigs allows me to showcase a range of skills and services to cater to diverse audiences. While I haven’t made any sales yet, I see this as an opportunity for growth and learning.

Over the past two years, I’ve taken a step back from this account to focus on enhancing my skills and refining my craft. During this time, I’ve worked on optimizing my gig descriptions, building a strong portfolio, and understanding how to better meet client needs.

I believe success on Fiverr requires persistence, consistent improvement, and aligning services with market demand. With these efforts, I’m confident my gigs will begin to gain traction.

Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to returning stronger, ready to provide exceptional value to my future clients.

Why don't you start with 4 gigs first to showcase your skills?

If you want to delete permanently and create new account with different email and username - This is allowed in Fiverr. But creating multiple account is not allowed and it's against Fiver Terms and Conditions. Thanks

Thank you for your suggestion!

Starting with 4 gigs is a great idea to focus more deeply on showcasing my strongest skills. Initially, I created multiple gigs to explore different areas of interest and understand which services might resonate best with potential clients.

Moving forward, I’ll consider narrowing my focus to a few core gigs that highlight my top skills. This way, I can optimize them further and provide even better value to clients.

I truly appreciate your advice and will use it to refine my approach.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Still they can. Will verify agian with the same name and ID. Bcz fiverr will remove his all past history for that account.

Brother, I truly appreciate your response and respect your suggestion. I want to take some advice because, to be honest, I’m a bit confused myself.

If there was something I didn’t address properly in my earlier reply, please let me know. I didn’t mean to disregard your feedback—it’s important to me.

Thank you

I know you have asked funnily 😄

I have seen so many post related to create new account and removed new one. They contact to support and Fiverr support suggest that. Like you can create new account after deleting current account but can't use Username and Same Email.

I was inactive on Fiverr for a long time, now I am continuing with my old and only account. Can you tell me where you found this, and have you seen any difference after creating a new account?

You need to ask who did it. But if your old account is inactive for so long then Yea you can delete them and create a new one if you want. Thanks

You guys have normalised CHEATING and DEFRAUDING the system. Just because someone has managed to circumnavigate the system and create new account(s), that doesn't mean it is LEGIT and ALLOWED.

Read the Fiverr TOS properly.

You might have seen those posts.. But later, usually those accounts gets flagged so kindly do not recommend or suggest this tip to anyone ever. You should read TOS again.

I took this decision after communicating with fiver support team. They suggest me to keep the account by changing the mail account. Also, If i want to create a new account by deleting this, there is no Issue.

You highlight a line. That means you are not allowed to have two different accounts at a time.  Thanks

Its good to go. But you need to invest more time to get them in a track. You have to optimize the gig and invest your time to satisfy algorithm. i read so many articles and also communicate with the support team. Although no one directly support me to create a new a/c by deleting old one. I just think it will be legit idea. Thats why I go for it. My suggestion right now for you: continue with your current account and continuously improve your gig.

Why would we cheat on Fiverr? If we can deliver our services properly, why would we need to create a new account? My question was simply this: if I continue using this account, will I have a better chance of selling my services? you should Keep in mind that, I am just asking a question, I have not created a new account.
