That's definitely something unusual, and it looks like we might be encountering a little bug. I’ve let the Product Manager know so he can check it out. Fingers crossed, we should have everything sorted by Monday!

Where is the issue, when they require you to go a bit left and then a bit right, and then they verify? I noticed that a newer ID helps, so if your passport is newer than your national ID, which was the case to me, it should work. I lost weight and my facial structure is different, so with the older national ID it did not verify at all. Hope that helps...

Hi @Kesha I have verified my account after the customer support gave me the chance to verify my account. I got the notification that i am all set. But my account is still hasn't reinstated neither can i get access to my gigs. 

My ticket #12755101 got updated after 3 days that the customer support has received your request but still no update on the ticket.

I have one of my client waiting to send him the bill for his work & i am waiting to get my account reinstated. Its been hurting me emotionally & financially both.

Hello @Kesha, I am also facing the same issue.

I am a LEVEL ONE SELLER, and working here from past 4 years, I have past record to successful verifications many times. 

I had received the email few days back, but on 16th night I started the verification process. Before that, I had already updated the address and other menus related. I am a individual but a company. So when I started to verify on my phone.

Firstly, I tried to access through the button in the same email but it keeps getting error messages and didn't let me sign in. Afterwards I tried using the fiverr notification pane and then started the process.

On the first attempt, I tried to verify it didn't get my ID. (My ID is in national language urdu it might be a cause this time but previously, I have verified using this as well, might be the AI systems couldn't get it).

Then, it said you could try getting a driver's license as well. On the second try, I tried because it was in ENGLISH then it also got denied and said it wanted the right type.

On my third attempt, I tried and the front page got captured auto, on the back side, it could not detect it because according to the sample frame, the barcode was in the middle. But on ID it was on the bottom. 

Right after this, I filed ticket #12770015 at 2130hrs almost. Now I have filed 3 more tickets but they couldn't be solved and I just marked them as solved, the reply received from those 3 was just an AI message, but the actual #12770015 isn't solved yet.

Hi fiver gave me chance to verify again after 3 days of ticket submission.  I initially decided to selected out side of my primary job. Then you are all set came on my dash board but my restricted seller account is not restore till yet. It has been 24 hour ago but my seller account and gig is still restricted

@coconut_art hi .Cs gave Me chance to varrify agaij and this time I initially selected out side my primary job .then you are all set status came on my dashboard. But I has been passed 24 hour plus time but my seller account is not reactivate and gig are not appearing till yet .I cannot able to sending offer ,and my success is also not appearing

strange for me the acc and gig went back to online instantly but score was 0 ( it took 24 hrs to went back to normal ) send a ticket to CS again or if the recent one is still open u just to need reply again and tell them ur issue also sent them a screenshot of it .

@coconut_art yes I have submitted an new  ticket with SS hope get back the gigs with live status . question? You also went for outside the primary job ? If you did this did you  get any notification or email .because I also selected this for now and you are all set on my dashboard came but idint get any notification and mail and I has been passed 1.5 day the gigs are not active with thier score and status although my varification is completed

I uploaded my proprietorship business information and my government ID, but my EU verification failed during the selfie upload. I followed the instructions by centering, then turning left and right, but it's not working. My seller account got disable , all gigs are paused. 

CUSTOMER SUPPORT said "We’ve since resolved the issue, and you are welcome to try again."

Ticket id #12754834

But its not working I am still getting the --- "Your verification failed . You won’t be able to sell on Fiverr at this time" 

I need help verifying my profile @Kesha , @coconut_art . I have been working on Fiverr since 2018. (Level 1 seller from last year)

I completed my last delivery 16 days ago. Now, it's showing my success score as 0/empty. 
How is that possible?

@Kesha Can you please help me. I have been with customer support for days with no result whatsoever. All they do is reset my attempt to verify which isn't fixing the problem.

I am in Egypt. My only form of verification is my national ID. It is in Arabic. There is no option in my country for it to be in English. In our national ID, we have 4 names, first name, 2 middle names, and a last name. I initially filled the form with my first and last name. I didn't include my middle names since it is optional. I wrote it in English. After it scans the id, it says that the information does not match, and then it brings me back to the form that has my name and it changed my name to Arabic, and it put my 2 middle names and last name in Arabic in the last name slot. I assumed the app is suggesting what is needed. i am aware, though, that the instructions clearly say to keep the names in English. I proceed anyhow thinking the app knows best. The verification fails and my gigs are paused. I contact support and they take 3 days to get back to me. I ask for an alternate verification method. Instead they simply reopen my ability to verify. I go through the same process again. i typed it in english, fails, app suggests that i change the name to arabic and write both middle names and last name in the last name slot in arabic, i proceed, it fails again. I was scared to try the 3rd attempt. From what i am seeing there seems to be some kind of conflict and I am not sure what is causing it. The only way to discover what works, if any of it works, is to keep experimenting till I see what works. 3 attempts to verify at a time is not enough for experimentation.

The issue is I am concerned that since my ID is in arabic that my name has to be in arabic, but the rules say the name has to be in english so I am worried this creates an impossible situation where it can never be fulfilled.

The experiments I have in mind is as follows

1) Write my first name in english, and then the 2 middle names and last name that are on my card in the last name slot in English

nope i didn't get any mails but my gigs went back to normal and as for the score it will took 24 hrs to be back to normal cuz mine did and for others too who were facing the same issue with score . If u have still some problems or doubts create a ticket and send the screenshot to the support stuff .

I figured it out and it worked finally.

For Egyptian IDs that are in Arabic, this is the only way it works.

First name HAS to be in Arabic exactly as on the ID card
Last name slot has to have the 2 middle names and last name in Arabic

in the address slot, it has to be in Arabic and the same exact text that  is on the National ID

That is the ONLY thing that works for Arabic Egyptian National IDs. After, the next step it takes a photo to match the ID and the verification works.

Don't be nervous support stuff will reach back to u very soon in my case it took 3 days cuz they are  handling lots of tickets.

Thank you so much. I had also the same problems verifying my ID, even though my gigs have been published. I don't know conditions what will be like in the future. I completed an order fortunately but the impression has been very poor for 2 months. Please advise me.

Hello @Kesha,

I have encountered issues with Fiverr’s identity verification process, specifically with the embedded app used to verify sellers. Unfortunately, the process has been challenging, and I’d like to share my experience.

Firstly, after granting the app access to my camera, it displayed an error message stating, “Couldn’t access camera.” This is frustrating and frankly absurd, as it reflects how buggy the system currently is.

Secondly, after performing a hard refresh, I managed to progress to the step where I captured both the front and back of my National ID (NID). However, when I reached the next step, which required capturing my face, the app once again displayed the same error: “Couldn’t access camera.” This raises questions about the app’s functionality. If it did not have proper access to my camera, how was it able to process my NID in the first place? This inconsistency is baffling and suggests that the app might be experiencing significant technical issues.

(i'm using latest versions of chrome on pc and on mobile browser and tried to complete it on both, i don't see any option to verify in the mobile app)

I plan to attempt verification again in a day or two, hoping that the app will have been fixed by then.

It is deeply concerning that Fiverr is banning sellers who are unable to complete this process—especially when the same information was used to verify their accounts when they first joined the platform. 

I originally thought failing verification would limit sellers from working with European customers, but it seems it’s resulting in outright bans. I hope Fiverr addresses these issues promptly to avoid penalizing sellers who are genuinely trying to comply.

You will get the option after 72 hours ( One of My friends got the option after 72 hours)

CS reset My verification but I do not get these two options I want to choose the first one. but I directly get into the second option.

 

UPDATE:

never mind guys I know what is the issue I had a profession created so when you do you  will not get the first option 

now it's working for me

Hello @KeshaI initially faced an issue with the ID verification process and reported it to Fiverr Support. Following their advice, I waited for 72 hours to retry. When the option became available again, I selected “Outside My Primary Profession” and successfully completed the verification process. My account now shows the “All Set” confirmation (screenshot attached).

However, despite successfully completing the process, my gigs are still not visible, and I am unable to create offers for my clients. Some of my clients have already reached out to me in my inbox, but I am unable to proceed due to this issue.

 

I kindly request you to escalate my case to the relevant department or handle it personally. As a Level 2 Seller, this delay has caused me significant financial and mental stress for the past 4 days. My ticket is #12778825

Please assist in reactivating my gigs and restoring all Level 2 seller benefits as soon as possible.
