Additionally, I am currently living in a different place from where my documents were issued. However, I created my account in the place where I currently reside, so my account reflects that location. During the verification process, should I select the place that issued my documents? This is because all my documents, including my passport (which I used to verify my account previously), were issued by my home country, even though I am staying elsewhere at the moment.

Generally, since it is important that sellers represent their accurate location on their profiles, it is required that their documents be from the country listed on their profiles. 

I understand that special situations may arise so I would reach out to CS to see if there is anything that can be done.

Please be patient with CS as they are currently experiencing a high volume of tickets, and tickets, which are handled in the order they're received.  

Please remember that if you open multiple tickets on the same issue, they will be merged. This is why some may show as resolved. Additionally, this can extend your wait time, so we kindly ask you to avoid submitting multiple tickets.

I'm still Confused  

While reviewing the options provided:

1- Outside my primary job or profession
 2- As part of my primary job or profession


I noticed that selecting the first option ("Outside my primary job or profession") results in a confirmation message stating, "You are all set."

However, I would like to confirm whether choosing this option will still allow me to receive messages and orders from EU clients in the future. Since I already completed my ID verification approximately two years ago, I want to ensure that my ability to engage with EU clients remains unaffected by this update.

As for your question, if you received the "You are all set" message, then you are good to go and will still be visible to our EU clients.

There is nothing I'm doing wrong through the process, I've done the same for the government and other websites. In this case it just fails for no reason.

Hello @Kesha, I want to ask that i am 14 years old with Level 1 profile, can i upload my mother's id card for verification? as i also attached my mother's payoneer for withdrawals, can i use her id card for verification of EU?

Hello @Kesha, I tried to comply with the request, but the failed ID check restricted my account.
I tried to contact support and no clear reply given after more tan 24hrs.

Now, I'm receiving notification that my top seller status is about to be revoked due to no success score.
How am I supposed to have the success score if my gigs are all suspended?
Before the failed verification, I always maintain 10/10 score.
Even the latest finished work today didn't contribute to the score because of the suspended gigs.

CS is not giving further response, the bot failed, the human CS not giving further assistance. 
so basically it is:
Failed ID check -> cannot verify again -> CS not responding -> still no further support after 24hrs -> gigs still suspended -> success score affected -> recent finished sales not contributed to succes score -> gonna lose top seller status as well -> send tickets again -> still no response

I'm now thinking that maybe everything will be gone for good.
I tried every suggestion and still no solution here.

I think you have a 30 day grace period for that. 

And a lot of people want to get verified, so there are a LOT of tickets for CS to go through. I am lucky because I had this issue, but it's one of those cases where Seller Plus did come in handy and the faster reply time did help remove a lot of headache and worries. 

You can't do anything other than wait for CS. Maybe Kesha can speed things up a bit by telling CS to check that particular situation, but other than that...

@Kesha It's  totally weird and stressful ! It's  a chaos , I've been waiting to fix my situation and  my ticket was opened  since 3 days and  I'm a seller plus, which doesn't  really help much  through this hard time !  It doesn't  make any sense , I've  lost  alot of potential clients , despite that it was "all set" based on the notification,  my gigs are paused.

I'll be on a trip for 4 days to take care of some personal/ family issues, so I will keep monitoring things while on travel. It is really frustrating since I always try my best when working using Fiverr all these years and this happened.

Now gigs are all paused, I lose the chance with everyone that want to do art commission next week. Everything cancelled. All because these crazy mess that caused chain of problems.

I'm also experiencing the same thing it's frustrating, and I hope it will be fixed for you and me and all the people who experience that issue as soon as possible.

Hello Fiverr Community,

I’ve been a Fiverr seller for almost 3 years, and recently I encountered an issue with my account verification. Here's the timeline of events:

  1. I received a notification asking me to complete personal info and submit my ID for verification.
  2. After filling in the details and uploading my ID, I was told the verification failed and that my seller profile was no longer approved.
  3. I contacted Fiverr support, explaining that I’ve been an active seller for years and suspect the issue might be related to my profile picture (an anime-style image). I offered to replace it with a real photo if needed.
  4. Fiverr’s reply was generic, stating I was "trying to open a seller account," which is not accurate. They also said I could continue as a buyer, which doesn’t address the real issue.

I’ve sent a follow-up email asking for clarification and resolution, but I haven’t received a response yet.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights from the community on how to resolve this issue or escalate it.

Hi all, 

I have a problem with the verification and I'm not getting the support i'd love to get from Fiverr. Im Dutch nationality, working as a freelancer in Spain. Summer 2024 started selling actively on Fiverr and at the end of the year I finally got my Level 1 Badge, i was super happy. Fiverr is still a side income, but for January 2024 I had a good $1000 extra earnings on Fiverr already, and it's only even 16th of Jan 2025. 
Now when I wanted to verification, I uploaded my business tax number, and my residency card which didn't got accepted, so i tried with my driver's license, which is still Dutch, didn't got accepted either. I thought I try again with a residency card as thats the only document card I have from being a resident in Spain, didnt get accepted either and my seller's account kind got blocked. So I'm stressing out as buyers can't see my gigs anymore, I cant send out any offers anymore, and i'm not getting any response from Fiverr support. Only 1 automatic email the first day to apply again for the verification which isn't possible as the screen appears as "verification failed"

I'm all about doing things legal, I can provide them with any kind of document they need, but I feel very ignored and stressed as the 8 months I've worked hard to get to level 1, (which also means generating income for Fiverr), is all gone! 

Please, someone of Fiverr, I would be very grateful if we can fix this as I read I'm not the only one and there are more sellers dealing with the same problem.

Hi, Thanks for the information. My verification process has been suspended while uploading the ID and I have contacted customer support but no response yet. Do you think using a cartoon teddy bear image is a reason? If so could you help me to be allowed to retry verification after uploading a real photo into my profile? Thanks in advance!

Hello @Kesha, my seller status is back now as I checked. I will redo the verification once I done with the trip
But a new issue occured now.
Before the restriction two days ago, my success score is 10/10.
Then restriction made all gigs unavailable and during evaluation period yesterday (it is the 15th of this month) it drops into -/10.
Now my seller status is reactivated and my gigs are back, but my success score still stay -/10.

Does it means Fiverr did not track my entire previous works and based it only after the latest evaluation even if it is an error? 
Am I going to lose the top seller status because of it?

I'm still waiting for response from the customer support. This is insane, a separate issue caused by the previous issue in the system.

Could you help me with this? Or am I supposed to lose my top seller status and redo it all over again?

I started my job as freelance illustrator in Fiverr back in 2018, offering cheapest price with decent quality work. I trained and refined myself to climb to the top seller status here. It was a long winding road, indeed.
As you said, I don't wanna lose the result of my hard work due to this issue. 

I cannot accept if the reason is the evaluation period in the middle of the month. There was an error. Fiverr should have the track record of everyone and there is no way this oversight should be enforced.
I've sent a ticket and waiting for a solution now.

edit: I haven't redo the verification. I still have to finish up some family issue until Tuesday or so. I will try to do verification after that day.

Guys good news i got my acc running again !!! thank you all for staying with me and your good wishes and i hope the problem u guys are facing get resolve soon and CS is responding everyone so just stay patient they are handling a lot tickets ( my ticket took 3 days ) and dont create many tickets for the same reason cuz it will delay the response more . and i choose the outside my primary job option and i didn't had to add any id or anything else and my gig got back again .
