As the year comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on my experience with Fiverr, dear friends. Fiverr has been a game-changer—a true milestone in the freelancing world. While there are many imitators, none have truly captured what makes Fiverr unique. It started as a beacon of innovation and continues to lead, introducing groundbreaking options and features every year.

Looking ahead to the new year, freelancing is gaining momentum across various industries. Artificial Intelligence remains the hottest topic, and while many feared job losses due to AI, the reality is quite the opposite. AI is proving to be a tremendous ally, handling routine tasks efficiently and freeing us creatives to focus on what we love most: creating and innovating. It enhances, rather than replaces, our abilities, making our work even more meaningful.

What will the next year bring? Undoubtedly, more exciting tools, fresh ideas, and deeper collaboration. As businesses—small and medium-sized alike—realize the value of outsourcing both minor and major tasks to freelancers, the demand for our services is set to grow. Freelancing streamlines operations, brings agility to projects, and allows companies to shift focus between interconnected ventures with ease. This flexibility is reshaping industries, creating opportunities for both businesses and freelancers alike.

So, as we step into 2025, I foresee a vibrant landscape filled with diverse clients and exciting projects. Let’s embrace the challenges and possibilities that lie ahead.

Wishing you all a fantastic December 2024 and joyful holidays. And if we don’t connect before, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my fellow freelancers! Here's to an inspiring and prosperous future for us all.

This is such an inspiring reflection! I completely agree—AI has become a great tool for freelancers, enhancing our creativity rather than replacing it. The future of freelancing looks bright, and it’s exciting to see how Fiverr continues to lead the way. Wishing you and everyone here a successful 2025 and happy holidays!

While that is true, Manuel, the opposite is also true. There's no denying that AI leads to many jobs being replaced, and I can see that firsthand right now from many colleagues, friends, family members.

You are also right, as using AI can help speed up workflows and productivity. But for the freelancing world specifically, AI is doing more harm than good. At least in my opinion.

How did it help you though, because it seems you have no orders...

I've completed one order. I am optimistic about Fiverr. I am continuing my work. I am constantly learning and sharing what I am learning with others as much as I can. Thank you.

In my opinion, it will take time for us to adapt to AI, but it is not harmful. For this, we will see new areas of work from 2025 onwards.

Just because AI writes comprehensible posts for you to PASTE on the forum, that doesn't mean AI is actually doing good.

Google and read about where AI is getting its "training data" from, the environmental impact of "server farms" and the mediocre output it constantly generates.

Bonus, read this: https://www.business-standard.com/world-news/who-was-suchir-balaji-openai-whistleblower-found-dead-in-san-francisco-124121500273_1.html

AI doesn't create posts for me. Yes, I get ideas from AI, but I use my human intelligence to create my current posts.

Think about you are searching on Google about something and making decisions after analyzing them. Isn't AI saving you time?

What you are talking about is environmental impact. Everything in the world has an impact on the environment, such as the Internet. Cutting off your head when you have a headache is not a solution. We need to find a solution to this. Thank you.

I can tell you for a fact that the writing market and designer market were heavily affected by AI. And yeah, I doubt people at least in this niche want to pay for AI generated content from a seller. They can generate that themselves, much cheaper!
