New: Fiverr Professions. Anyone else having trouble?

So Fiverr has launched the latest portfolio for sellers called "Professions."

To participate you have to link your existing portfolio samples, or create new projects, followed by a verification process. That's where it is failing for me. To get verified there are two methods available. One is to scan a QR code on your phone, which then takes you nowhere, or the other is to get a link via SMS text. Once you get this link, clicking on it makes you log into your Fiverr account, but then nothing happens, and you don't get verified. 

Then endless loop.  Anyone else?

I've seen people on the forum having problems with the ID verification part of opening a new account and assume the same process is used for "professions."

I was so close to filling everything out for this last week but told myself I'm not lifting a finger for anything other than orders, that are scarce this time of year, until mid January. It ought to get interesting for me because the legal name I have now is different than when I signed up and when I asked CS about verifying the new one they said "It's okay. We already verified your account." 🙂

I hope that you figure it out because of that big, scary "failing to verify your identity could result in restrictions on your account" banner!

Solved: After a round or 2 with customer service the workaround is that you have to temporarily uninstall the Fiverr app on iPhone, complete the verification, then reinstall the app.

i got professions feature too . and i can summit my professions , but the problem is, is it work? i dont get any impression ,or click,

I also have the same option showing up. Can someone explain if it will also matter and not verify properly if i have beard? As i am afraid that if i fail it can end up bad. As it is saying in the RED Box. What do you suggest? and do you have a guide on how you submitted? Do we have to hold our ID card with our face selfie together?

Happy you were able to get it resolved @newsmike! Our team is working on resolving the issue so it's not a reoccurring issue for sellers.

@wordpressfixer1 You should still be able to pass the verification despite having a beard. If you run into any issues, you can always contact CS, who can assist you.

Hi! I don't have a video guide, but I would recommend simply following the prompts as you go through the process.

Well, I think the issue arises when people manually click the button to upload their 'ID card/driving license' and selfie, even though the system automatically clicks it itself.
