Urgent Request for Fair Resolution: Long-Time Fiverr Seller Facing Unjust Account Suspension

Hello Fiverr,

I have opened more than 50 tickets to resolve my issue, but your support team seems unwilling to listen. This is why I am compelled to raise my concern publicly.

First, I want to emphasize that I have been working on Fiverr for 12 years. During this time, I have completed over 21,000 orders and received more than 7,000 reviews. Recently, a buyer placed three orders with me. In each order, the buyer wrote, "If you do a good job, I’ll leave good feedback; if not, I’ll leave poor feedback."

It seems Fiverr's system flagged this language, which led to me receiving a warning for violating Fiverr's terms. Subsequently, I received a second warning for the same issue, and Fiverr accused me of taking fake orders. However, this issue stems from the buyer's messages, not my actions.

Despite providing every possible proof, including screenshots and the buyer's profile, Fiverr has refused to acknowledge that both the buyer and the orders are legitimate. The strongest evidence of this is that the buyer has also placed orders with other sellers, including a top-rated seller. If the buyer were fake, they wouldn't be ordering from multiple sellers, not just me.

It appears Fiverr flagged my account due to limited communication in these orders. I have explained this as well:

  1. My gig descriptions are detailed and comprehensive.
  2. I provide backlinks, a service that often doesn't require extensive back-and-forth.
  3. 90% of my clients are repeat customers who place orders directly with minimal discussion.

Despite all this, Fiverr suspended my account without thoroughly reviewing the case. If a seller with 12 years of experience and a clean track record is not safe on Fiverr, then who is? This kind of attitude from Fiverr is deeply disheartening.

Until a year ago, Fiverr’s support team was excellent. I don’t know what has changed, but the lack of consideration for sellers’ careers is alarming. Many of us rely entirely on Fiverr for our livelihoods, and this kind of approach puts our careers at risk.

I sincerely request your support in this matter. Fiverr’s support team must review my case fairly and restore my account.

I hear you out. I feel that Fiverr should opt for a balanced approach between buyers and sellers instead of favoring only the buyers. As both buyer and seller is required to complete the process so that every party benefits from the platform. It should never be one-sided approach. I am a new seller on this platform yet to register a single gig but then, it could happen to any seller, at any stage and at any time.

Thank you @priyank_mod for the tag but unfortunately there is nothing I can do regarding @bestprovider's issue 

I truly understand how disappointing this must be, and I'm really sorry that I can't assist with this particular request. I wish I could do more to help, but regrettably, I am unable to address this issue as it was reviewed thoroughly multiple times by our dedicated department.

Your team has not properly reviewed the situation. Please inform them about this. If the buyer were placing fake orders, they wouldn't just target me but other sellers as well. This buyer has placed orders with top-rated sellers too—are all those orders fake as well? And what about the 21K orders I have successfully completed on Fiverr? Are they all fake too?

How can anyone trust Fiverr if this is how things are handled? This puts the future of sellers at risk on the platform. Sellers spend years of hard work building their client base, and Fiverr shuts it all down in a minute without any solid reason.

@Lena Kindly respond to me. You cannot treat a 12-year-old seller like this. I have dedicated 12 years of my life to Fiverr, and you cannot suspend an account without any reason in just a minute. You need to listen to me and respond. My tickets are being closed without any replies. Fiverr's support was not like this before. Is Fiverr's future secure if sellers are not treated properly?

 

@Lena I am being treated unfairly. My account has been suspended without any valid reason or proof of wrongdoing. I have dedicated 12 years of my life to Fiverr, and yet my account was deactivated in just a minute, without justification. If I had made a mistake, it would have been understandable, but I have not violated any policies. This is simply a misunderstanding on your part. I have deeply understood and followed all the rules, yet it seems you are not understanding my situation.

@Lena Support keeps closing my tickets every time. I have created over 50 tickets, but they are not ready to listen. Fiverr's support wasn’t like this before—it used to understand and address issues. Now, it doesn’t even listen and treats sellers like they don’t matter. Sellers are the backbone of Fiverr; without sellers, Fiverr wouldn't exist. Suspending a 12-year-old account without any valid reason is a very serious issue. Kindly ask the support team to review my case properly and address my concern.
