Inquiry About Deleting a Gig and Customer Reviews

Hello Fiverr Support Team,

I have a question regarding deleting a gig. If I delete a gig from my profile, will the customer reviews and feedback associated with that gig also be removed?

I would appreciate your clarification on this matter.

No. If you delete the gig with its reviews, then reviews won't be removed from your profile. They'll stay on your profile permanently.

No. Reviews will remain on your profile until you get banned or you close your profile. Otherwise, you can delete 30 gigs, Fiverr will keep those reviews on the profile page. You can't escape bad reviews my friend, they will stain your profile forever.

I understand that reviews stay on the profile even after deleting gigs. However, my concern is not about escaping bad reviews, as all my reviews are positive.

I suspect that my Order Completion Rate or Success Score might be impacted by gigs with lower order activity. That’s why I’m considering removing such gigs.

Do you think deleting low-performing gigs can help improve my success metrics, or is it better to keep them?

That's up to you. I remember someone from Fiverr saying that removing the gigs could improve, CS said otherwise. So it's hard to know. If you're not going to offer those services anymore, then delete them, because they are just wasting space. But if you just want to delete them due to metrics, why not pause them? One would think pausing or deleting would have the same effect because those gigs are inactive anyway.

Yes, if you delete a gig, the reviews and feedback for that gig will be removed too.
