Question

Hi everyone,

I’m feeling a bit down lately. I’ve been on Fiverr for a few weeks now offering voice-over services, and I’ve been doing my best to keep my clients happy with:

  • Sending personalized "Thank You" audio messages with the order, telling them clearly I love to provide re-records if needed, I make sure they feel free to ask for this
  • Replying all my customers within the hour
  • All my deliveries are on time, most of them within 12 hours
  • I'm always delivering more voice-over options than the client paid for
  • Proactively asking for feedback on my work and delivery methods (e.g. file structure, file formats, names)
  • Offering free demos when necessary
  • Building a loyal base of repeat customers
  • Ignoring fake buyers and keeping all communication on Fiverr
  • Only 5 star reviews, zero negative feedback in all my orders - seriously none
  • I receive a lot of positive messages from customers about the quality, without asking for it. I can't imagine they privately rate me less positive.
  • I think along with the customer so that they receive the best possible quality
  • If the order is 'accepted automatically' I proactively ask them if they like the end results and let them know they can still contact me if they need something re-recorded

I truely believe I'm delivering above all expectations, always being kind and polite. And of course it may happen that occasionally a customer is not satisfied without telling me or me realizing it, but I can't imagine it happens oftensince I'm always in close contact with them.

Despite all of this, my success score has been steadily dropping. It went from 8 to 7 the day before yesterday, and now today, it’s at 6. I was almost a level 2 seller, but I guess I have to accept the fact that I will stay a level 1 seller as you need a 7 to go to the next level. The reason listed is simply “No specific areas significantly impacting your gig’s score.” This feels so discouraging, especially since I put a lot of effort into delivering high-quality service.

I understand that the success score affects my visibility on Fiverr, and I’m feeling demotivated and super sad about the drop, as I don’t know exactly what’s causing this drop or how to fix it. I've read all the official Fiverr pages on the topic, but the process still feels vague, and I don’t understand how to improve with so little concrete feedback.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? How did you handle it, and are there any specific actions you’d recommend to get back on track? Can I contact Fiverr for more detailed feedback on my performance?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @rosalindekll, feel free to contact the Customer Support team about this, they might be able to provide a more detailed explanation behind this. You can also check this link on how Success Score works and how it's calculated, but this account-specific information can't be shared here on the Forum. Good luck 🍀
