Thoughts on client NDA?

I just had a client ask me if I could sign an NDA for their project (I'm editing a novel for them). I have no problem doing it, but because I'm still relatively new at all this and haven't received too many orders yet, I was curious if this is common.

It's not uncommon. You might want to point out when you deliver the work that they have to opt out of having it displayed alongside their review--if they decide to review you at that point.
