Why Can't Find My Gig In Search Results?

Question

Posted

Hi Community.  I have a general question.

As a new seller, I have 4 Gigs active.  The Fiverr analytics shows that I am getting impressions and clicks.   However, when I search providers matching my key terms (while logged out of my Fiverr account), I don't see any of my Gigs appearing in all 11 pages of the results.

I've tried to adjust the filters, or use no filters, but I can't see my Gigs.   Is this common?  Could something be wrong?

Hello @jannellch

Our algorithm takes many factors into account, which means the results vary by user. Since the marketplace is ever-changing and competitive, we suggest working hard to ensure that your Gigs stand out. Please take a moment to read this post for a better understanding.

Thank you.

Hello Jannell, you might see some impressions and clicks because Fiverr actually helps to promote new gigs and you might randomly appear sometimes on the first page as a new seller.

But, as long as you won't have a few reviews on your gigs, it will be hard to get a better ranking of your gigs so it's actually normal that you see them appear on the page 11.

It's common for new Gigs to rank lower initially. Optimize tags, titles, and be patient as you grow!

I am not concerned with the ranking of my *fully optimized* Gigs (I wish I could share a link to my Gigs to highlight just how optimized they are).  I understand it will take time to get orders, reviews, and build my Seller level to improve ranking.  My concern is that I don't see my Gigs in the search results at all - not even in the last place, on the last page - through my testing while logged out of my account, using/not using the filters.  That is why I posted my question.
