Who is giving feedback to fiverr on Trustpilot?

Question

Posted (edited)

Today, as soon as I opened Fiverr, a message popped up saying, "Give feedback to Fiverr. Leave a review on Trustpilot." And Fiverr tells sellers that we cannot ask buyers for feedback. Why is this double standard being followed? Or, you can also tell us not to give Fiverr a review on Trustpilot.

There is no double standard.

Even if you follow Fiverr's practices, you are allowed to ask for a review. You are not allowed to ask for a 5 star review or a specific number of stars.

They did the same here, they encourage you to leave a review. They don't say what review to leave them, nor are you forced to leave one.

Is funny that Fiverr want people to review them, but they never sent us a survey to collect a directly feedback from Sellers or Buyers.

Is to easy to be the best one, you just need hear the people and apply the changes and work in their requests, it seems Fiverr is not interested in the Sellers and Buyers perspective. All users must write a review and share their main concerns and what they most likes about Fiverr.

@Kesha Just hope that Fiverr Team will read the feedback and work in improvements and make the platform even better!

This is a very bad idea, with a high chance of backfiring. Don't be surprised when you don't get what you had in mind when you asked for it. I get that Fiverr is not liking the current 2.6 average review they have on trust pilot. They'll never be promoted above level zero that way 😞 Here's a pro tip - improve the platform, instead of asking for reviews.

Edit - As predicted.

I had a hunch this would happen.

I feel like I've given ample feedback on here - and so I don't feel the need to do so in another capacity (though as always I'm happy to talk to staff like many of us are.)

Whoever thought it was a good idea to send out the request for reviews probably thought they'd get more positive feedback since it was requested. However I think many people have lost a lot in the past year on here, so when they saw the email, well, their reaction was less than positive.

I agree. It's the same when sellers ask a buyer for their review. It can easily backfire.

It also came out of nowhere, they could have timed it better, after a platform update or something.

The reviews say by themselves, the true experience of Sellers all things already shared here in the Forum that for years was ignorated by Fiverr
