Security of document links from potential clients

Hi, I'm new to fiverr. I have a question. Since I work in writing and translation, clients will send document links.

Sometimes it may be content that needs to be translated or work instructions, how can I be sure that these files are safe and risk-free? Can I open them?

To be able to safely open files from potential clients, please first verify the client's reputation and always scan documents with antivirus software. Make sure to avoid compressed files. These precautions minimize the risk of malware or other threats. Any exchange of information required for the completion of a service must be provided in the Order Page. Order Page is where Buyers and Sellers communicate with each other in connection with an ordered Service.
