Hi there,

Welcome to Fiverr! Starting out can feel a bit overwhelming, but don’t worryβ€”you’re in the right place, and it’s great that you’re thinking about working within Fiverr’s rules from the beginning. Here’s what I’ve learned and what might help you:Β Β

@devs_dulalΒ There are a lot of self-proclaimed experts on the forum, like this seller who lists "buyer request". This is one of those so-called experts who doesn't know how Fiverr works. "Buyer request" has been removed by Fiverr for at least 2 years.

Those so-called experts are easy to spot. They have no orders, no reviews (or very few reviews). Most of the time their feedback is written by ChatGPT because they themselves are not able to write an English text (despite the fact that they mention "fluent" in English on their Fiverr profile).

Only take advice from reputable sellers.

Β

@ataul_haqΒ You should be ashamed.

I'm sorry sir. I'm also trying to learn. I hope you will show me right ways like this. Again I am sorry and it's not writen by Chatgpt.

Lately, it seems like AI is the hot topic everyone’s talking about, especially in the world of freelancing. For many content writers on Fiverr, AI tools like ChatGPT are seen as a potential threat. But why the fear?

The main reason is the misconception that AI will replace human writers entirely. AI can produce content quickly and at a low cost, which some clients might prefer. However, AI lacks the depth, creativity, and personal touch that only a human writer can provide. Clients value unique perspectives, emotional resonance, and nuanced storytellingβ€”things AI simply can’t replicate.

Instead of fearing AI, writers should see it as a tool to enhance their skills. AI can help with research, brainstorming, or even drafting, but the real magic happens when a human writer polishes the work and adds their expertise.

So, rather than being scared, let's embrace AI as a partner in creativity. It’s not about β€œAI vs. Writers,” but β€œAI and Writers” working together to deliver even better results. What do you think?

Thank you for educating and enlightening everyone about AI using an AI-written post!!Β πŸ˜‡

Educated professionals with real-world work experience really needed an eye-opener like this from a seller with (almost) zero sales.Β πŸ™Œ

Β

PS I'm pretty sure your German, Spanish and French are equally AI-generated-fluent too.Β

Every person has to start somewhere. So I'm telling you, don't belittle me.Β

I agree with you.Β

Precisely why you should read more on the forum and post less using AI.

Educate and up-skill yourself to learn and grow. And AI is definitely going to automate lead generation or similar tasks.Β Β

using AI.

Why do you think my post was created by AI? There is nothing wrong with using AI, but it certainly has human touch. It's perfectly allow on Fiverr. I can use AI to gather knowledge and idea. My writing is my own.

If it takes one, it will open 100. Don't be afraid, hug him.

Thank you.

If you were as fluent in English as you claim to be, you would know that this expression makes little sense.Β

You also don't realize that a lot of people are cheap. I know plenty of people that told me they can't afford buying content from me anymore and instead they just use AI to generate text to have on their website. For some it's fine, because all they want is an online presence. Not everyone cares about ranking, but those that do will usually come back for human content. However, I can tell you for a fact that the number of orders accross the board has been significantly lower for all writers here. So there is quite the decline in demand. And you can add to that people that say they write manually but use AI and all kinds of stuff like it which ends up pushing customers away from the platform, at least when it comes to writing,.

As you mentioned, businesses that care about ranking and engagement usually return for human expertise, and that’s where skilled writers truly shine. It’s definitely a changing landscape, but I believe quality and authenticity will always find their place. Let’s hope we see more demand for skilled writers in the coming year. Thank you.

I have not claimed to be proficient in English anywhere in my post. I have posted on a specific topic and I am seeking constructive discussion on that subject. Thank you.

That's true, but you are trying to lure innocent buyers by grossly exaggerating your language skills.Β

I am 100% sure that your language proficiency in those 4 languages is not what is stated in your profile.

Language skills are not a big deal in my job. I work in lead generation. While working in Canada, I had to work with a province in that country that was a French-speaking province. I worked there efficiently. I love Spanish and I learned it on Duolingo. The same goes for German.

I have never seduced anyone and I cannot survive here by seducing. Fiver has a sharp eye on me. I always try to follow the rules.

I find it surprising that you are unfairly discussing my English skills instead of discussing the important topic.Β

Thank youΒ

That doesn't mean you should lie. If you lie about this, people will automatically assume you're lying about your other skills as well.

The important topic is that AI destroyed a lot of writer accounts and rendered them inactive, basically. I know plenty of great writers here that either stopped their gigs and moved on or barely get a few orders a month/year. If you say AI is only good for writers... that's just not true at all. Sure, some use it for ideas and other things. But it's clear AI is replacing a lot of writers.Β

Lol, you seem to be moving in a different direction now.πŸ₯³

This is what happens, my friend, when we just copy-paste whatever AI generates.Β
