Question

Hi everyone,
I’m curious about how time extensions impact our stats. If I request a time extension from a buyer and they approve it, will it still count as a late delivery on my record? Or does Fiverr consider the new deadline set by the extension? I want to ensure my stats remain in good standing, so any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

As long as you give yourself enough extra days it shouldn't count as late.

Once quite a long time ago when I was creating an extension request it asked how many extra days I wanted and I entered how many extra I wanted then as soon as the buyer accepted it it turned the order late as it was counting the extra days on top of the original expected delivery date instead of the on top of the current date (which was probably already past the expected delivery date because of multiple revisions. But if the 1st delivery was on time it wouldn't have counted the order as late after it was complete). Though they might have changed how that extra days bit works now.

It might or might not affect the success score. See: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/21965360854673-Success-score

Do revisions, extended delivery times, or partial refunds negatively affect the success score?

The success score model takes a broader perspective, focusing on overall client satisfaction. Revisions, delivery extensions, and partial refunds are tools to enhance the client's experience and are evaluated based on their positive or negative impact on client satisfaction. The model identifies whether these actions improve the client's experience and adjusts the success score accordingly.
