Hi guys,

i got in a ORM task from a client.
My client has some negative articles about his business online. I have been on such a mission with so much pressure to get this done, I am saying this after spending a week of my time during the night because of time zones that differ, just to be scammed. I was shocked to see that most sellers that offer the ORM services are false profiles and how I know none have the correct time when i looked at their location all of them are in the time zone for nigeria, put my theory to the test and asked one seller for his number and it was a nigerian number after his location he had as USA Austin Texas added to that the number he gave is a +2345 number which is widely known as a decoy type numbers scammers use. They have no previous gigs and this one guy actually got a few 100 dollars and a tip out me me. Please be vigilent guys. This is so sad for me because i have really trusted Fiver. The dispute process is flawed as this guy is holding onto R9000.00 of mine because he out witted me and i fell into his trap.

its my clients money that i need to use to get his work done snd nowI am struggeling to go foreword and execute.

please can someone help me, In south africa we are nor very rich and pyingnin dollars kills us.

I need the money back and nothing is helping begging pleading and threatening does nit help.

I have used Fiver for long. This breaks my spirit. But I need my money because we dont have the budget to write it off.

please can some one help me

best,

You probably shouldn't asked him for his phone number though. The terms of service says:

Quote

Requesting or providing email addresses, third party messaging applications, telephone numbers or any other personal contact details to communicate outside of Fiverr in order to circumvent or abuse the Fiverr messaging system or Fiverr platform is not permitted.

If you did call them then Fiverr wouldn't have the details of the call to back you up if something went wrong.

Agreed - this is tricky if the convo was off the site.

What do you mean by this? Why did you tip them if their work wasn't good?

What is Fiverr saying, why can't you cancel the order?

best,

Hi there, sorry to read you've had an unpleasant experience with one of the Sellers on Fiverr. Please contact the Customer Support team, or send an order cancellation request to the Seller. Sadly your account will get blocked for providing a phone number and continuing the conversation outside Fiverr. Also, you should know that using respectful language is mandatory, and profanity, offensive language, sexual remarks, personal attacks, or negative callouts towards other members are strictly forbidden, both here on the Forum and in private conversations on Fiverr. Good luck with our future endeavors 🍀
