dereck_s Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Anything high sugar just leads to a crash. Brain food is bacon with cream cheese (try it before you say it's gross). 18 hours ago, filipdevaere said: The best chocolate comes from my home country: Belgium. I'm pretty sure Belgium get's it's chocolate from Africa. 7
donnovan86 Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Well, it might seem basic, but I just prefer pretzels or crackers. And preferably in a controllable amount, since it's very easy to overeat when you work 🙂 6 1
filipdevaere Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Where the basic ingredients come from is not important. How the chocolate is made is what matters. 8

dereck_s Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 14 hours ago, filipdevaere said: @dereck_s read this: Why Belgian Chocolate Is the Best | The Table by Harry & David I definitely agree that places like Belgium are known for their chocolate. I've just never seen it as "Belgium" since most of the ingredients don't come from the area. Now if we're talking specific companies chocolate is the best like Goddiva then I agree with you. To me the place of origin is important just like with my meat, or chocolate, or produce, or really anything I'd hold to the same standard as chocolate. 7
