Does Fiverr only attract fake buyers?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the platform and all I get are messages from empty profiles asking for my email address before talking about anything in order to pay me.

I'm starting to lose patience with having to report all this spam.

 

What would you advise me to do to receive real requests and what is the official procedure for accepting a buyer's request?

They are not buyers. They are just scammers or hackers that want to gain access to your email address to steal info. I don't get why people say "fake buyers" because in order to be a buyer, you have to buy something. Which they don't.

I suggest when you receive strange messages to report and block. It's the best behaviour with such frauds

@daron76000 You have to respond to the message from a PC before you report/block it otherwise the system subtracts from your response rate and you get tossed into the Fiverr dungeon.

Honestly you might not ever get an order. You're just a bad choice over an experienced seller on the platform and the competition is very high. The reason why there's a ton of scammers on Fiverr is because there is no cost to entry. On most of the other platforms there's a cost involved upfront that helps to prevent scam accounts.

I recommend reporting and blocking any suspicious messages you receive.

These kinds of people are just scammers. Never share any contact details with them you will put yourself in trouble and lose your account. Yesterday, I received a message with a suspicious link and I ignored it. Just ignore them and report them to Fiverr. Stay safe from these fake buyers.

Fiverr, like any online platform, can attract a mix of legitimate buyers and a small number of problematic or fraudulent ones. While Fiverr is a widely used platform with many genuine buyers and sellers, you may encounter fake buyers or scammers.

When I uploaded my new gigs, I also received similar fake messages. One person even sent me 10 links to open, but thanks to Fiverr's security, those links were not visible due to being flagged as spam. I blocked and reported all of them, thanks to Fiverr's protection.

They are scammers don't reply or click their. At present Many New User face this problem. Don't be panicked. You can report to Fiverr. 
Fiverr will block them. It will not hamper you account.

While it's a very useful platform, it's worth mentioning that Fiverr automatically blocks many of these spammers. However, I've had to block some manually. Does this affect my response rate? I think you have to wait patiently. Genuine buyer will contact you soon. Good Luck
