Personal Email Address?

Hi there, I just received my first client email. They asked me for my email address as they encountered an error when attempting to make a payment -this was the only missing piece, the seller's email address. 

I thought alias email addresses were provided automatically by Fiverr, or am I mistaken? Should I provide my personal email address? I don't think so, right?

No don't give your email address to any buyer. The person in the inbox saying it's asking for your email address is trying to scam you. If they're showing a screenshot asking for that then it's a fake screenshot they're attaching. Fiverr will already have your email address.

If that's what they're saying  (that it's asking for your email address in the payment screen) then report their message to Fiverr using the 3 dots that it shows on the top right of the message when you put your mouse over it. Pressing the 3 dots will then show a small menu that will say something like "mark as spam" or "report". Choose the "report" option.

Hi Maggie, sorry to read of this unpleasant experience. Just wanted to let you know that Fiverr would never provide any information on another user, including the email address. Buyers don't need your information to purchase your Gig, so I'm glad you checked with the Community before giving out your details. Please report the user so that our team can block them from the platform. Thanks and good luck 🍀
