Fiverr warning.

A buyer contacted me through a message. He told me to give him my email and send me project details. I send my mail. then he sent me a profile link. then I told him I was not interested in working outside of Fiverr. But Fiverr sent me a warning

Mentioning "outside of Fiverr" and also sharing your email are the things you did wrong. If you see they ask for your email, either tell them you can't help or just mark as spam. The warning is warranted...

Fiverr is not that dumb, as you think (just saying)! 🙂

Nice trick btw! Give the email, break the TOS and then pretend in the Fiverr inbox that you are not interested in working with the buyer (in the sake of formally closing the discussion without placing the order) -- and then proceed to place the order outside the platform.

9 out of 10 people do the same thing, so do you really think Fiverr should not give you a warning just because you refused to work with the buyer? How can Fiverr know that "refusing" is not part of your "master plan" to work outside the platform?

Buyers and sellers are using this same trick (of "refusing" to avoid a warning) for years and even one time, a buyer suggested I do this (of course, I didn't and reported the profile):

Hi there, I highly recommend reading our Terms of Service if it's still unclear to you what you did wrong. I see that you've contacted the CS team about this so I'm guessing you still have dilemmas about the warning. Let me mention that putting an "*" when providing your email address won't trick the system, so you got off easy with just a warning. Good luck with your future endeavors 🍀

Obviously it is your fault. Fiverr is open for sharing any file with clients. When client ask for your

m---a---il  you needed to tell him send information and details in fiverr. Why you send your m---a--il?

It's a fault , i never shared my any of the link or address with clients even i always try to do meetings inside fiverr instead of sharing zoom or Google meet link.
