PAYPAL payment method issue

Hi there, please, I need someone to help me. I have verified my number twice to add PayPal payment method and a link was sent to my email then after I clicked on CONTINUE, it redirected me to a page where it says SOMETHING WENT WRONG, PLEASE TRY AGAIN. Please, what do I do to overcome this? Help me
