Hello Fiverr Community,

 

I’m reaching out here in the hope of getting some guidance or insight from fellow sellers who may have faced similar issues. My account has been flagged since February 2024, right around the time a major update rolled out on the platform. Since then, my account performance has drastically declined, with multiple gigs being demoted and hardly appearing in relevant keyword searches.

 

I’ve been an active Fiverr seller for over three years, working with more than 260 clients globally and earning over $12,000. I’ve always maintained high standards, responded to buyer requests on time, and focused on delivering quality work. It’s disheartening that, despite reaching out to Fiverr Support multiple times, I’ve only received automated responses stating that gig positions fluctuate naturally and that poor performance may impact search visibility.

 

What’s frustrating is that, until this flag, my gigs were performing well, receiving regular impressions, clicks, and orders. The sudden drop in visibility and lack of meaningful support from Fiverr has been concerning, and I’m feeling stuck without a clear path forward.

 

Has anyone here faced a similar issue with a flagged account? How did you resolve it? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated, as I would love to get back to actively serving my clients.

@milos_siena Hello Sir,

1. I had received no Prior warnings, for order cancellations and by mistake I had one for the delivery button violation. NOTHING specific.

2. The explanation from fiverr team on being flagged was, "Inconsistent location"

I was using a refurbished MacBook Air, which was originally from the UK. For IPs, I was working from a Co-work space. I TOO FEAR THE COMMON IP I WAS USING CAUSED THIS 🙂

I was really excited for the Update as it was coming the same day you get promoted to the next level, and I was eligible for being a TOP RATED seller for my niche. I had all the eligibles checked. 

There should have been a warning before Flagging my account.....

If by mistake you push the deliver button, forgetting to attach your delivery file or with some errors uploading it. Fiverr gives you a warning stating its against there TOC to send empty deliveries.

This other thing made you not eligible for level improvement and you can only work with previous buyers. Your gigs are practically invisible. That's why you don't have work.

I see that you contacted the support team numerous times, but they stated that they won't change their decision.

It was reviewed multiple times, unfortunatelly there is nothing you can do.

Maybe you can try with another platform.

That was harsh response to someone spending 3 years on the platform, level  2 and a met requirements for Top Rated seller.
