I have recently started on Fiverr and created my first gig, but I’m facing some understanding issues. For example, what is an impression and what does it do? I have a really good number of impressions on my gig, but I’m not sure what steps to take to get my first order and start building my career on Fiverr.

Impressions represent the number of views your gig receives. Essentially, this tells you how many people have seen your gig on the search page. On the other hand, clicks indicate how many people have actually clicked on your gig in the last 24 hours.

While getting more impressions and clicks is important, it doesn't necessarily guarantee orders. There are many sellers who get thousands of impressions and clicks but still struggle to land a sale. Several factors could contribute to this.

As a new seller, this is a common challenge at the start. It’s a cycle you need to break by standing out from the competition. Take some time to explore the profiles of top-rated sellers, read through their gig descriptions, and observe how they've optimized their listings for SEO. Starting with a clean and direct title is a great way to begin.

Okay, I read the guidelines, but I still have a question. In my description, what should I start with, and where should it end?

For example:

Start with: Should I begin with a greeting like 'Hi' or 'Hello', or go straight to the main point, such as: 'Are you looking for a skilled React developer to bring your ideas to life?'

End with: Should I wrap it up with something like: 'Let's discuss your project and turn your vision into reality. Contact me today for a consultation that could change the game for your business!'?
