verification for order

Hi

i got contacted by 2 difrent people saying they want to make a order but they are saying that they cant order since it is my first gig, they sent me a picture where it say they need my email adres, is this some sort of scam or do i give them my mail adres?

It's a scam - mark as spam after replying a quick "no" or similar and ignore!

Don't give your email, it's against Fiverr's policy.

Hi,
Same happened to me. When I uploaded the first gig, fake buyers came knocking. And told me exactly the same thing. But I block them immediately. Because I have already read the Fiverr policy. So does not share anything personal with them.

edit: it is 7 times now they have sent that message, 2 of the times they sent with credit card info XD

Hi there, sorry to read you keep getting these scam messages. There are multiple posts on this subject, so feel free to go through them if you have any additional dilemmas. Also, instead of contacting the CS team, I recommend reporting these users so that our team can block them from the platform. Good luck 🍀

Definitely a scam. Fiverr never requires your email address for an order, even if it’s your first gig. Any request for personal contact info outside the platform is against Fiverr’s terms and a major red flag. Stick to Fiverr’s messaging and payment system don’t share your email or any outside contact info.

Do not provide email as it may violate your account TOS.
