Is there anyone can help me to tell me the procedure for ranking my fiverr gig?

Gig rank doesn't literally exist and every buyer sees DIFFERENT RESULTS on the basis of their needs, location and profile.

Most new sellers including you guys are MISGUIDED by mentors and YouTube gurus.

Its true, I am one of them. 1st time while I gone for advise from a professional Freelancer, but he misguide me un-professionally.

Read out the articles on ranking your gig. In my opinion, just get orders!!! Talk with your buyer outside the marketplace or friends to place an order on Fiverr.

Please advise about the gig tags selections.

What can be said about this?
Follow what is described in the help files.

What about this button that there was on the Gigs page though (on the right side of the red box in this link)? Even if there isn't a fixed rank seen by all searchers, Fiverr still rank gigs correct (since that's what they say in their video)?

About the screenshot, which was shared recently - probably some kind of A/B testing or a bug in the system.

I do agree that some kinda of ranking mechanism must be there, as our gigs move in real time based on our CTR, conversion rate and order completion.

But at the same point of time - these mentors/youtube gurus project and newbies believe that GIG RANK is some kind of static element where they need to appear on top pages or if they get some kind of visibility in search results, they need to maintain it (by all means). The complexity of entire mechanism and variables involved is TOO MUCH for their naive uninformed minds to understand.

Could it be that this refers to the success score of the gig?

Maybe. Ideally staff could say what it and the other buttons are for (eg. the analyse one).

All 3 of those buttons (Analyse, Promote, Gig Ranking) are under a "Gig Score" heading. But it also showed "None" as the gig score in that screenshot.

But success score seems more of a static thing that they said wouldn't change much (though maybe they meant the success score for the whole profile).

A currently place where they show "ranking" is in the keyword research tool of Seller Plus:

https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/6533842204177-Keyword-research

where it says things like:

Quote

Overall rank
Overall ranking of the keyword, when accounting for all of the different metrics.

Though that's for keywords not gigs.

Maybe it could be something to do with advanced analytics in Seller Plus: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020207238-Advanced-Analytics

and how a seller's gigs compare with others or their average rank for different keywords.

Probably yes. Alot of people don't open the overview interface and then trickle down to gigs to see their scores.

So maybe another page which people visit more often will show them their gig scores!!
