Always online

Your account is still brand new. After a month you will realize that staying online is not going to help you.

Staying online is useless. It will not bring you orders.

What if you receive a message but are offline? Does it make sense to invest all that effort, only to be unavailable at the right moment? Buyers often won’t wait; they simply reach out to other sellers to get the job done promptly.

Staying online continuously is pointless in my opinion and hardly yields anything. Use the app and spend your time doing useful things.

Remember that many buyers who want immediate help from someone online at the time are the most dangerous buyers. These buyers are usually demanding and want a very low price because they know that many online sellers are desperate for a (first) order.

Sellers who have fallen into that trap then return to the forum with their (horror) stories. I avoid these types of buyers because getting into trouble is guaranteed. If a buyer cannot wait a half day until I answer his message, then he can search for another victim, it’s not going to be me.

You are a level 2 seller. You should have known by now that staying online is pointless. This has been confirmed multiple times in the past on the forum by Fiverr Staff members. I can show you almost 10 screenshots of that.

I don't understand why you as a level 2 seller give this kind of bad advice to new sellers.
You are very lucky that I don't have the rights to delete this post. You should be ashamed. Here is one of several screenshots from a Fiverr Staff Member. Take a good look at what he says. This was from October 25, 2024.

Actually Being online is waste of time , but taking the massage of our (respected) old-man there is actually a little chance for being select by any buyer for being a new seller providing services that might experienced ones can't (i.e. Low prices, Fast delivery) However, You must have a good portfolio for that.

You can use Fiverr mobile app, when there is a message, you will receive notification and you can reply to the client quickly. But it is not necessary to be online 24/7

You are highlighting only one of my points about staying online, while overlooking the others that I wrote for newcomers. It was certainly not intended to mislead anyone—please read my full message carefully before quoting it again. Also, I kindly ask you to choose your words carefully.

Being online doesn't mean having poorly designed gigs on Fiverr. If staying online didn’t help buyers find sellers, Fiverr wouldn’t have an "ONLINE SELLER" filter in their search. That said, I’m not here to argue 😉. If you believe staying online doesn’t work for you, then feel free to remain offline. As for me, I’ll stay online and continue to respond to queries from both new and returning clients within seconds.
