Question

Posted

Recently, one of my repeat clients left feedback that was directly copied from a ChatGPT-generated template. I usually avoid discussing feedback with clients or bringing it up with CS to avoid any account-related issues.

Do you think it’s worth reaching out to the client in this case, or would it be better to leave it as is? However, the review is positive.

I’ve also noticed on the forum a couple of accounts got in trouble related to feedback. I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Thank you!

I have received chatGPT-generated reviews multiple times and sometimes people even post 'translated reviews' which sound wrong/different altogether.

I just let them be because anyway, they will slide down in a couple of months.

I guess it's a sign of the times these days.   I have noticed that Google are allowing it now for their My Business pages.  The reality is that some buyers have probably been using chatGPT to review gigs for longer than we think. And it's only the reallybad ones that stand out!

Like @priyank_mod has said, I just let them get on with it

Fiverr has a built-in tool for AI-generating a review on the review page, so that’s likely where it comes from. I think reviews like those are insulting, but it’s what Fiverr wants apparently.

EDIT: I checked your profile. Yes, it’s ChatGPT, but Fiverr obviously doesn’t mind due to the above. And it’d be unprofessional to ask a client about the review even if it’s not the nicest review to get. They probably didn’t do it out of malice.

I got one 5* AI-generated-review—including the quotation marks! Try to beat me on that one. 😁
