Experiencing number of impressions changing reversely

Hello, does anyone know the reason for the change in impression? I look at my gigs from the "My Business" drop-down menu and find that impressions are decreasing, for example, From 50 yesterday to 35 today. The number of impressions has been increasing recently, and this is the first time I've seen it decline. Will the number of impressions decrease? Shouldn't it be increasing all the time accumulatively? Can it change the other way around ?

Why so?? I'm genuinely curious.

If not,   what does the number of impression mean?     for one day, one week's impression?

Its for one day and its dynamic in nature - it will keep fluctuating forever. 

For new sellers, they get a spike for a few days but if they don't get an order within that phase of growing impressions, then algorithm moves the gig out and numbers decline. They might eventually become zero too.

Thank you again for answering my question.    I still feel a bit of curiosity.   I found sometimes ,   continuous days, for example, two days, number of impressions were exactly the same.   this happened not only one time.   were they just coincident?

It was said by the end of the month with the beginning of a new month,  impressions can be  changing out of normal imagining.  I found impressions go back to increase much today.  it might be so.   ✔️
