Note: I am using this email because I couldn't login at my disabled account's email.
Hello Fiverr Community,
I am writing to share my unfortunate experience and seek advice or help from those who may have encountered a similar issue. Just a few days ago, I was a proud Level 2 seller on Fiverr, having worked hard to earn my status by successfully completing projects and satisfying my clients. However, my account was suddenly disabled by Fiverr, and the situation feels deeply unjust.
Here’s what happened:
Two months ago, I successfully completed a project for a client. Not only did the client approve the delivery, but he also left a 5-star positive review, indicating that he was fully satisfied with the service. Everything seemed fine—until recently, when the same client came out of nowhere and demanded a $300 refund, saying I could keep only $50 of the amount.
I politely explained to the client that the project was completed two months ago and that a refund at this stage was unreasonable. Despite my efforts to resolve the situation professionally, the client reported my account. Soon after, Fiverr disabled my account without giving me clear justification.
I reached out to Fiverr Support multiple times, hoping for clarification and assistance. Unfortunately, every response I received was the same:
“This is our final decision.”
I am now unable to access my account, which means I can't provide further proof to support my case. As a Level 2 seller, I have invested a great deal of time, effort, and energy into growing my Fiverr business, delivering quality work, and maintaining good client relationships. It’s extremely frustrating to see that all my hard work has been invalidated by Fiverr’s system, seemingly favoring the buyer without considering the seller's side of the story.
It’s heartbreaking to think that after two years of consistently providing good service, my account can be taken down based on a single refund request that surfaced two months after the project was completed. This is not just a financial loss for me—it feels like an attack on my hard work and reputation.
I strongly believe that Fiverr should support its sellers, especially those who have achieved Level 2 status. Entertaining unreasonable refund requests from buyers, especially long after a project’s successful completion, sets a dangerous precedent.
I am asking for advice and support from the community. Has anyone else experienced something like this? How did you resolve it? What more can I do to have Fiverr reactivate my account?
This situation has caused me immense stress, and I can’t bear the loss of everything I’ve worked so hard to build. I sincerely hope Fiverr reconsiders and makes the right decision by reinstating my account.
Thank you for reading, and I appreciate any guidance or support you can provide.
Best regards,
Naematullah Jamali
