Seller resold the logo they designed for me to at least 5 others

I am working with someone to help me with a logo I had designed several years ago on fiverr. The person did a reverse look-up and we discovered that the logo was re-sold at least 5 times since then. The logo is bespoke to me and was based on original artwork. What can I do?

This is honestly my biggest fear with Fiverr, that you don’t know if a seller will resell your project to others. I have nightmares that seller will be in bind with too many clients and will sell other projects to make up time. I’m sorry that this happened to you. I’m pretty sure you’re not the only one faced with this dilemma either sadly. If you have legal copyright over the design and you think it’s worth the time to legally pursue compensation, then I urge you to do so.
