Freelancing can be unpredictable, and some months are slower than others. What do you do to keep orders coming in during the slower times? Do you promote your gigs differently, adjust prices, or try new niches?

Your profile does not have a SINGLE REVIEW!! And I don't think your gigs have any orders in the queue.

Then why are you starting topics and posting like an EXPERIENCED SELLER??

Bro, try to keep your cool, take a rest, go outside, and breathe in the fresh air. I’m new to Fiverr but not new to freelancing. I’ve been working on other platforms and am just starting to build my profile here. I'm here to exchange ideas and learn from experienced sellers as I adapt to this platform. Having zero orders at the moment doesn’t define my skills or experience. Let’s keep this space constructive; mutual respect helps us all grow.

Consider promotions like a Black Friday Offer, Repeat Customer Offer, or other seasonal deals.

And why aren't you doing this? You haven't sold a single order since January 2024.

@imshibly Don't lie on your profile.

Hi, thanks for checking my profile. I’m currently an undergraduate student and expect to graduate next year, which is why I’ve listed 2025 as my graduation date. It’s just an estimated completion year, not a claim that I’ve already graduated. Hope that clears things up!

You haven't graduated yet. So those studies don't belong in your Fiverr profile.

Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate the feedback. I included my current studies to give clients a better understanding of my background, but I understand how it could be misinterpreted. I’ll adjust my profile to make it clearer. Thanks again for helping me improve.

I just realized my gigs a week ago! Thanks for the words...

Then you better mention in your profile that you just started.

If I were a buyer, I wouldn't order from someone who hasn't had an order in 10 months. Do you know what I mean?

I assume that you are going to change it into 2024. That would be a blatant lie.

Haha, not at all! I’ve actually removed the education section for now. Once I’ve officially graduated, I’ll add it back to my profile. Thanks again for the feedback!

And that's how it should be.
It's a shame that the thousands of sellers who fill their Fiverr profiles with untruths don't respond like this.

Thank you. I completely agree that everyone should recognize and learn from their mistakes. It’s helpful when experienced professionals, like yourself, identify areas for improvement and guide newcomers with compassion. Many of us, myself included, may make unintentional mistakes, and your feedback helps us grow.
Wishing you all the best.

Actually, I need to work on my profile and gigs, and I'll take your advice(most appreciated)

Countless such topics already exist and some of them are posted with official advice from Fiverr staff too.

General life wisdom is that people should hear more and talk less. Same way, a new seller should read MORE and post less.

(unless of course if they have been misguided that posting on forum will help their gigs and get them orders)

Thanks for the advice. While I agree that reading and learning from existing posts is important, some may be outdated, and engaging in current discussions allows for fresh insights. As you can see from the replies above, someone pointed out an error on my profile, which I’ve now fixed (you might consider doing the same rather than getting overly concerned). Also, I don’t believe Fiverr has any restrictions on posting frequency here, so there’s no need for worry. I’m here to learn and contribute constructively. Appreciate your input.
