Hello everyone, I just registered on the site and im not really sure how the scammers work here. So I posted a gig and a couple of people texted me and asked for my email to pay, does anyone know if its a scam or not?

Yes it's a scam. There's no need to pay to work on an order. Any orders will show on your dashboard.

Don't enter any payment/card info if anyone inboxes a link for that. Don't scan any QR codes anyone gives in the inbox.

Don't give out your email address if asked for it in the inbox (Fiverr doesn't allow that - all contact has to be on Fiverr, and any screens they show saying Fiverr is asking to ask for it are fake).

If they show fake screens asking for email address or are scammers you can report the messages using the 3 dots on the top right of the messages that show when your mouse is over a message. Or if you wanted you could report them to Fiverr customer support at the helpdesk or support@fiverr.com
