What does this 'Title contains illegal characters' mean?

Hi fiverrs,



This is the first time I start to sell my gig, but there is a problem therefore I can’t finish the procedure.



My title is ‘I Will Write You Beautiful Chinese Calligraphy For $5’. Everytime I click ‘save & continue’ button a message pop up says ‘Title contains illegal characters. Cover scaling ratio cover scaling ratio in the wrong format. Cover crop coordinates crop coordinates in the wrong format’.



I hope someone who can hlep me to know what’s wrong with it, Even I have tried many different ways but there is nothing changed. Please please help, thanks a lot!

Many Thanks! I have just tried again, I didn’t use ‘I will’ and ‘for $5’, also says ‘just perfect’ below GIG TITLE, but the window it still pops up ‘Cover scaling ratio cover scaling ratio in the wrong format, Cover crop coordinates crop coordinates in the wrong format’.



I really don’t know what to do now 😦

Hi, I removed the cover image, there is no more those red words now. But I have an uploading problem which it wouldn’t stop uploading the page. My images size for gig gallery are big than they asked 682x459, because this 682x459 isn’t works. Could you please let me know what size is the best? Thank you for all help!

Hi. I had expected illegal characters alert in almost evry gig description I wanted to publish. I spent hours of unnecessary work just to determen wich those words, carachters and phrases were. I’m making list and if I remember any others I will add them later:
“anyword/anyword”
“I’m friendly”
“2 for 1"
“Anyword-anyword”
”()" these are illegal only in gig extras
"TWO OR MORE CAPITAL WORDS" in title

I know there are so many more of them. I will make sure to add. As for now anybody who knows amy of those words could post them here so we all stoped loosing precious time with them.

Remove the comma and the period in your sentence, no punctuation. Blessings!

You need the gig images to be 682x459 only. Neither big nor small.

Just use small letters and it will be ok

Simply Just Remove all the symbols or special characters and you are good to go…

They should implement it at least making it red color the characters even simple registration page has that feature this is not rocket science people. 😄
