As per the new update of fiver, you must have seller mode on your profile. You don't even need to refresh it all the time. But fiver forum has a positive side. If you have time 4/5 hours a day you can research on different topics on fiver that will be positive for your work.

Will this help me get my first order?

The answer is probably, no.

According to me, being active means, being responsive. When a buyer is sending you a message, try to reply to him/her within a short period of time. There is misconception that you have to be active 24/7 in the Fiverr. We are human beings. It is not possible for us. Right? If you follow any social media tips, like using the browser auto-refresher extension, you may lose your account forever.🙂

Yes, sometimes buyers are in a hurry and need immediate help. So, they choose users who are online. So, you can be active on Fiverr for a while in a day and research about your gig optimization & promotion tasks. Being active on Fiverr is not the enough reason to get the first order, according to me. And, most importantly, community.fiverr.com & fiverr.com are completely different. When you are active in the  Fiverr community, it does not mean that you are active on Fiverr. May be your buyers are not in that community. You may be on your Fiverr seller dashboard mainly and move to the  Fiverr community to get some helpful information.

Thank you!
