Gig Thumbnail & Click-through rate (CTR)

Recommended Posts

I assume u guys are already well aware that what value your thumbnail provides to Click-through rate

So it is very important that u guys focus on a catchy Thumbnail which makes the buyer to not only click on your gig but find you in a page over 50 Gigs if in case u got yourself on first page

the only thing i am going to talk about here is on Dimensions today

Other factors as such

  • Colors
  • fonts
  • image
  • text to image ratio
  • UGC generated images vs Mockups

using Themed Thumbnails for your profile is for another day

The Dimensions recommended by the fiver for your Gig Thumbnail

  • Recommended 1280 x 769 px.
  • Minimum 712 x 430 px.
  • Max size 50 Mb

But on the side of picture , based on your Thumbnail patterns

Thumbnail Pattern ( another Buzz word )

Thumbnail Patterns means how your text and other elements in thumbnail are aligned , how much padding is there , are they too close or maybe too far

Sometimes your thumbnails based on these pattern factors though your thumbnail is supporting Recommended Dimensions still looks Spreaded or when you look at it , it feels like something wrong with the width or height

An intrusive thought right after it would be why dont i check the thumbnail dimensions after the gig gets published from developer mode and it shows some other numbers

Most likely

  • Rendered size:710 × 427 px
  • Rendered aspect ratio:710∶427
  • Intrinsic size:150 × 150 px
  • Intrinsic aspect ratio:1∶1
  • File size:6.8 kB

In this case , I would highly appreciate a Pro Seller to take a view of my Gigs and find me a solution with a Quote to this Post

New Sellers are welcome too

1- if they face anything as such

2- they want to address this problem

By the way most of the time this is a problem here in Fiverr. I think most of the Pro and Experienced sellers don't do such things. And if you tried to communicate them it is against the Terms and Conditions.
