sazidulalam224
What's the best way to stand out in a competitive niche on Fiverr? Any tips on optimizing gig images or descriptions to attract more clients? I'm currently offering services in a highly competitive niche on Fiverr and looking for ways to make my gigs stand out. I know gig images and descriptions play a huge role in attracting clients, but I'm unsure of the best practices to follow. Should I focus more on showcasing past work or highlighting specific skills in the description? And when it comes to gig images, what elements really catch a buyer’s eye? Any advice or insights from your own experiences would be greatly appreciated!

This is my single biggest frustration on here. How a new freelancer claims to be an expert with chatGPT comments with no orders to earn Forum badges, then in the blink of an eye are asking for help on the very same subject. Have some integrity please @sazidulalam224

sazidulalam224
I’m a web developer specializing in building responsive websites using modern frameworks like React and Framer Motion animations. While Fiverr is a great platform, I’m looking to expand my reach beyond it. filipdevaere
Although Fiverr recommends sellers to use social media, you will quickly notice that this rarely yields results. No reputable seller will recommend you to use social media. 15

If you need clients who aren't on Fiverr, then you should be working offline to aquire them. Why pay 20% to Fiverr?? 14 1

Run paid advertisements targeting your specific niche! That’s the only "effective" strategy that can give you some results. It’s also crucial to properly target the audience with a well thought out strategy -- otherwise, all the clicks will go down the drain. Also, note that you can run paid advertisements only on social platforms like Insta, FB, LinkedIn, etc, and not on Google -- as running paid ads on Google is against the TOS. 9 1

creative_howl
I wouldn't bring clients I meet out of Fiverr here either. Why pay an extra 20%? As a designer, most of my clients come from Instagram. It's the easiest platform to market design work since it's a visual platform. You can do some pretty cool stuff on Instagram reels using Framer. Don't get overwhelmed. Just start sharing your design work with some educational stuff on Instagram without any expectations and grow your page for a while. You will get inquiries coming in naturally. I wouldn't waste my money on paid advertising on social media since most of the customers are businesses. The best place to do paid advertising for a designer (in my opinion) is Google. 4

Hi, is this really good practice? I am not sure if Fiverr allow to run ads on on social platforms like Insta, FB, LinkedIn, etc. Can you please give us any reference? It will be much appreciated. Fiverr only restricts you from promoting your gigs on Google. It doesn’t restrict your ability to promote them on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, etc. I even had a long conversation about this with my Success Manager, and she clearly said that it's not against the TOS in any way. It's just that we can't promote gigs on Google.
