How Do I Know If A Gig is Legit?

Hi all! So, this might seem like a dumb question, but how do I know if a gig is legit? I know what most scams look like asking for email addresses, spelling mistakes, addressing you as "Dear customer" whatnot. I'm new to Fiverr and only posted my three gigs the other day. All I've done is clear out my inbox of scams.
