Changing category

I have a active gig but I wanted to change its category and it isn't allowing mto change category? Can someone lmk how can I without deleting this one or making a new.

If you put your mouse over the category selection it says "you can't change your gig category once the gig is published".

So it's currently not possible if you've published the gig. You can change the subcategory though.

I think it used to allow more changes if the gig was paused (maybe to the category) but it doesn't allow the category to be changed if it's paused now either.

If you have buyers feedback in that gig then edit or if not then create a new. Create a new gig is much better to modify a gig  as per my experience.

If you don't have enough reviews or sales in the gig which you want to edit. In that case, I think that creating a new one is better than changing the old one's category.
