That said, I still disagree on a few points, and that is totally fine, we do not have to see eye-to-eye on everything.

No problem man, I respect people that have another opinion. It's fine. I am sure no one is a fan of the success score, because every single thing that goes wrong with an order will affect the score one way or another, especially if that happens consistently, like canceling orders, being forced to extend the deadline multiple times, etc. There are things that I like as well. Being able to see the individual score of every gig and see what Fiverr thinks is bad with that gig means you actually know what you can improve upon. Before the success score, you had no idea what's wrong, so there is an improvement here. So there are pros and cons, pretty much like with every single thing in life. I do recommend finding multiple sources of income for all freelancers, because having all your eggs in a single basket right now is VERY risky. For example, if you rely solely on Fiverr and the success score drops.. that will be very difficult to survive on.

I am writing as a buyer. I have stopped leaving public reviews ever since Fiverr introduced this change.

It is non-ethical and I personally feel it as a violation of my privacy. I make purchases out of my own pocket for my own personal projects. I don't want the world to know how much I spend.

The problem now is that even if they revert their decision, I have already lost trust in Fiverr, seeing how long this thread is open and what has been said, yet ignored by Fiverr. How can I be sure that they won't reimplemented it (maybe this time with exact prices, for maximum effect).

I try to be correct with the sellers and explain to them why I will not leave a public review and send them a link to this thread. I do try to leave an accurate private feedback. I am not sure I can do anything better. And while this might be fine for veteran sellers with good portfolio of done projects and reviews, this is really hurting new sellers.

It is best to complete the order even if you do not leave a public review, as sellers are negatively affected when orders are autocompleted.

It's great to see that Fiverr displays the order price in reviews! This transparency can be beneficial for both sellers and buyers on the platform. For sellers, it provides an opportunity to showcase the value of their work and the price point they deliver it at, which can help attract potential clients looking for services in that range. For buyers, it gives a clear idea of what to expect in terms of pricing for the quality of work provided, making the decision-making process easier and more informed. It also fosters trust within the Fiverr community by ensuring openness and clarity in transactions. If you’re a seller, this could be a chance to highlight your skills and professionalism, reinforcing the quality and fairness of your services. Overall, it’s a feature that can enhance the user experience for everyone involved!

Yes, of course. I always complete the order but omit the public review part and wait for the private review.

This is downright unethical and a breach of privacy for my clients and myself. Fiverr should have an opt-out for sellers with the DEFAULT option turned OFF.

I cannot believe Fiverr shows such blatant unprofessionalism when it comes to their sellers and clients' privacy. This information is sensitive and in some cases part of an NDA. I assume clients don't even realize this information is shown publicly which greatly undermines the trust buyers SHOULD have in the Fiverr platform.

@Kesha I understand you are a spokesperson for Fiverr and able to communicate this concern to the relevant departments? There are many high-ranked sellers here in this thread telling you to get rid of this 'feature'. Please listen to them and take our concerns seriously.
