from my pov, I didn't have any specific issue with editing your gig details - if it's necessary you really should edit the gig title, desc, and pricing frequently

It is not right to edit gig edit again and again, it will lose gig rank, it is better to do market research and edit 1 time.

It is not good practice to edit gig frequently because it create confusion among buyers and it also help to lose rank. you can check below link before gig edit.
