What is the minimum price I should set for website development in my gig?

I hope everyone is doing well. I heard somewhere that Fiverr has set a rule stating that if you are a website developer, your gig price must start at $80 for it to be ranked. Is this true?

What is the minimum price I can set for my gig as a Shopify or e-commerce website developer? Any help or reply would be greatly appreciated.

Search for your competitors gigs and see what they are charging. Please also take a cosideration of your own skills. As a new freelancer on Fiverr its better to start with a relatively low prices.

Yes, the minimum starting price for most gigs is $5.

The minimum price of gigs depends on the subcategory they're in. I think the Programming & Tech->Website Development subcategory has a minimum price of $80 for new gigs.

If it's under the website development subcategory (Shopify is) then probably $80.
