Clicking on any received offer in notifications will also provide you with an option to CANCEL the brief.

I STILL can't find out how to just cancel a brief. It's infuriating.

Yeah could someone please tell me how to delete these? Previously you could create a brief and cancel it (as I don't need the work anymore), now its just sitting there. It's really infuriating.

I have the same issue.  There really doesn't appear to be a way to cancel a brief, nor change the status from "live".  How could they miss something so fundamental?

Oh my. I posted a brief, which I can't edit, so I want to deactivate it. No way to do either. Is this for real? This is foolishness!

About to jump back to Upwork where at least things are sane.

Same issue here. Brief management page doesn't seem to have cancel / delete option.

Looks like Fiverr is trying to inflate the number of active projects on the platform...

I have the same issue and feel like I am wasting everyone's time. Above a mod mentions the "cancel" brief feature is in the notification section. For the life of me, I cannot find it. @priyank_mod Please escalate this issue to 'critical'.

I'm not Fiverr staff, I'm just another seller on the platform. So I would not be able to escalate.

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for your feedback. The option to delete or cancel a brief is not currently available, but it is something that we are working to update in the very near future.

Kesha, you've got to be kidding me. I'm here because of the same reason. I'm still receiving offers for a job that has already been cancelled by the hired guy! This is insane. Never using fiverr again.

i am not able to cancel the brief or mark it as done also, this is so frustrating and very stressful as it is hurting my response rate in my freelancer mode as apparently they are not separated

same issue and I believe this is delibrate "Project Inflation" to keep their stock price moving inspite of risks from Generative AI. It helps them inflate their numbers to show how many projects they have whereas they may not actually have that many active projects to attract freelancers.

Certainly seems like deceptive business practices.  Looks like the only way to get rid of the unending offers from sellers is to deactivate my account and move to another platform.

Fiverr is a bad platform so I will also suggest you should leave. Another platform will suit your particular needs because briefs are for clients/customers to craft and if their description falls short, Fiverr brief automatically restricts them from deletion. To be honest, even I fumble for words most times than I can remember and hence I gesture towards an untoward UI/UX design on part of Fiverr developers. They have a design in mind which shatters the whole system resulting in Fiverr experience shrouded in dust and miscalculations.

That's crazy...my repsonse rate is being hit. It use to bble to stop. Why would Fiverr not take that away?
