I just set up 3 new gigs and now im confused ...

Question

Being a recent victim of a crypto scam, in super cautious about giving out my credit card info.  After I set up my gigs, I received a message from soeone with a barcode which took me to a place that asked for my credit card info.  I did not comply. Then another person sent me a message saying that they tried to purchase my gig twice, but it needed an emil address. I tried to send them my email, but Fiverr blocked it, which i guess makes sensem but it leaves me wondering if im supposed to input my email address somewhere ? .  Were these people scammers or do I actually have to input my credit card info somewhere. And if so ?  WHY ?  Some clarification would be great.  Us newbies can never be too careful.

Thank you so much in advance.

Yeah, that bar code is exactly what I got. PHEW.  So glad I asked.  So that means I really dont have to do anything other than report these people. So sad that one can't even feel safe in a work forum. I appreciate it.  Thanks for your help priyank_mod and nionkhan2020  for your speedy replies.  Im glad I asked.  look forward to learning from this community how to succeed as a seller 🤗 and im excited to dive into the content of this forum. It's a scam. You can report this user to our Customer Support or send an email to support@fiverr.com with screenshot. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/334397-is-it-a-scam/?do=findComment&comment=2082235

Here is a way to report easily:

When you hover your mouse over the message area, you will find three dots in the top right corner. Click on it, then a pop-up box will appear, like the one marked in red.image.png.0ed4cbc68ecd593d3ed4d5f801984982.png
