Hey there @softlancer001 and welcome to our amazing Community!

Congratulations on starting your freelancing journey on Fiverr! If you’re just getting started, I recommend that you check out our free Fiverr Learn course.

The Forum is full of information and great discussions. As a new member, we recommend that you read through some of the previous posts made, as they have lots of valuable insights that will help you get started. If you would like to ask the community for suggestions on your Gig, please post in the Gig Advice section.

Here are a few that I recommend for new freelancers:

Good luck! 🍀

You can easily search the forum and find tips though. Lena's ideas are great, and you can literally find thousands more topics like that if you just spend a little time searching. Success won't just come to your door, you have to search for it 🙂

As others pointed out; YouTube, Lena's advice and, what many will throw around: "SEO"

To someone who didn't do graphics design, marketing, websites, freelancing for a while in general, etc. that may be confusing though.
What they mean is: Search Engine Optimization
Essentially - understand how the algorithm recommends your gigs to buyers when they type in ..."video voiceover" or something.

A good way to go is, think: "If I wanted to buy this, what would I type?"
and then check what the best results use for tags and gig description - and title pictures etc. too obviously; even if their good quality do not directly influence your ranking, they influence a buyer's impression, help them decide whether they want to spend money - and from then on it DOES affect the rankings because they got interactions, someone bought their service and if they do well good ratings from then on.

Essentially, SEO is about using keywords to rank with - fiverr will recommend the best fit for "video voiceover" based on
-what fiverr's algorithm learned what is usually meant with these words
-and obviously, direct fit of these words
-but also: seller's rating etc. play a role too
(-and further filters such as price, categories etc.)

Sooooo if you're new, have no ratings, no customer base, no one trusts you - don't pick a fight you can't win!
Using the same keywords etc. as the experienced pioneers isn't exactly helping you because they have ratings and stuff you don't; you can't be on the first page with them.
What makes YOUR service special?
On the voiceover example; what sort of voice do you have? By calling it "Calming reading voice" you already pin it down, but there's going to be many people you compete with for that too.
So, try to find something with less competition BUT something a potential buyer would still search for. And something that still describes what you do, therefore isn't misleading.

And do not spam powerwords! The sentences and title still need to make sense AND make a first good impression on the buyer.
On one hand, I can't imagine fiverr's staff would be fond of people spamming senseless words around to trick the system, on the other hand, even if it works...
Okay, someone clicked on your gig and then what?
They see these words, don't know what you actually do, are confused and even find you suspicious.
It's not about someone clicked on your gig once or being on the first page and you made it, if they think you're a scammer or something, it's all for nothing.

SEO is mostly about trial and error while analyzing the market, what others do, what the algorithm does but also luck (if someone actually uses the keywords you decided on right now and then thinks you're suitable; that part is luck). So, good luck to you!
