Question

Hi, I'm a complete newbie to Fiverr. I wanted to know a reasonable pricing range for my gig, that has to do with integrating, building and optimizing AI/ML workflows either into existing apps or completely from scratch. I'd decide on the exact pricing by myself, however I have no idea what's the minimum and maximum for my field.

As you are a owner of your gig. So it depends on your choice what will be your price.

Switch to buyer mode and search/analyze a few relevant gigs and their prices from your competitors. Then decide.

Good Luck!

I use the following to base my price:

How many hours do I invest for each project (in general) x How much do I want to be paid per hour, to make it worth my time.

With this, you will have your ideal price range for your work. BUT ofcourse, this might mean you will be pricing more than competitors in your niche. That's why it's also important to analyze what others are charging for the same work. Now I don't mean only in the search overview, but really dive into the prices of these first & second page sellers. What packages do they offer, what are their extra's, etc. Now, what can you do with this information?

Start:

  1. Use the general price of a gig and find a way to have a neutral costs for your buyer (not to low, but also not to high) using the research of other gigs
  2. Make this offer more attractive by writing a good description, ensuring your offers are correct and providing good examples in your gig gallery

Stage1:

  1. While having the gig active (and getting orders) try and get amazing reviews, compliments and returning customers. This will back up your gig with proof provided by others (the goal here is to just optimize your level of service

Stage2:

  1. While working, you can slowly increase your prices (why? Because you are getting more qualified, more experienced and have proof of that) At this stage (which takes a long time ofcourse) you can slowly build up to the ideal price range for your work.

My number one tip (and kind of request) is to not offer $5 offers when it's clear that you will invest many hours into it. Never undersell, but price accordingly. Hope this message has made a few things clear for you, and also, welcome to Fiverr 😉
