Can you guide me on what mistakes I might be making, as I am getting orders very late?And does website development or WordPress development not have scope on Fiverr, or should I persevere?

I hope you're all doing well. I need assistance with my Fiverr account because I haven't received any orders in the last 3 months. Five clients reached out to me, but none were serious buyers; they were just having fun. Typically, sellers achieve Level One in the first 2-3 months, but despite having positive ratings (3 with 5 stars), I'm struggling. As a new seller, I've had 1200 impressions and 3-4 clicks per week. Please guide me on how I can improve.

Hello tabassum,

First of all you need to improve your thumbnail. If you are getting impression but no one is clicking your gig it means your thumbnail is poor. and

Second thing as a new seller we are allowed to make only 4 gigs after fiverr policy update of march 2024 and you have 6 active gigs on your profile. You should remove two of them.

How do you expect to be a propper seller on Fiverr while you can't price your own service?

Just go the normal way, think about how much time you invest, how much you want to earn and how much you think its worth it. How would we know?
If I said 5 dollars, would you do that just because I said it on this platform? ofcourse not.

If you're using Elementor. then why aren't you using the Hello Elementor theme?   That way you can create what you like from scratch without the shackles that a prebuilt theme gives.

This was the whole reason that elementor was created.

You increase your chances of getting work by offering a unique service and catering to what your clients want. If you offer the same thing that others do, then it's hard to stand out. 

And yes, as Filip said, staying online is useless.

Your gigs will need to stand out from the other 80,000 gigs that sell the same service that you do. 

Your gigs do not stand out from the others. Your words are too small. And why do you have an image of a random girl on your gig instead of one of yourself? 🤔

 

Look at the gig images of TRSs. Most of them have photos of themselves. That way, they establish trust with their buyers.

Everything can be found on the forum. Just skip the advice/feeback from new sellers and sellers without sales (or only a few sales).

It's not my industry, but 'outdated' vs 'promising future' is a very broad scale. Plus, how far into the future are you implying? Five years? Ten? One hundred?

I know this is before your time, but I still remember a web game that I'd played a fair bit becoming unplayable. Does that mean the skill of creating specifically in Flash was useless? Somewhat. Many of the skills transferred, creators shifted to new options, people adapted or left. That's the key takeaway, no matter the shift: adapt or die.
