Hello! I am a session musician and have been on the fiverr for about two years now. The first year and a half of which I did not have many orders, but I was not worried because I treated this platform as a hobby, where in my free time I can help someone with my skills. But in the last two months, I've turned on my gigs ads and started getting a lot of orders. But let's get to the point of this post.
You see, the work of a session musician is an interesting mix of composer, performer and tambourine dancer. Sometimes you have to make music out of something that is not music yet.
And here is one of these orders I received some time ago. The buyer placed the order without prior discussion. It happens and it's okay, I thought. Then he sent me, attention here, his own whisper and asked me to make music to this tune. Okay, maybe in the future we can figure it out and come to what he needs. But then the most interesting thing began.
I sent a demo a few hours later. I always do this to understand if I am moving in the direction that is expected and if any adjustments are needed. I'm being ignored. A day later, I wrote to him both in private messages and on the order page that I needed his feedback in order to continue making an order. I'm being ignored. A day later, I honestly completed the order and made the delivery, because there was already a deadline. Obviously, he did not appear further and the order closed by itself.
A week later, he shows up with a message of apology. That he couldn't get in touch, that everything was fine and it was his fault. I understand that anything can happen in life and maybe he really wasn't able to respond to messages (although he was online every time I wrote to him). After this message, he puts 1/1/1 arguing that this does not fit his song in any way and is out of key (I have absolute pitch by the way).
I immediately wrote to support to sort out this situation. Of course, the answer was that they understood everything, but they could not delete the review because there were no insults or threats in it.
That's the whole story. 10$ ruined my rating. I can't advertise my gig because my Success Score has dropped to 4. I can't fix it because I won't have any new customers. I got into a vicious circle. This is most likely the end for my account. I should have written to support before the order was completed and asked to cancel it. But I was not in such a situation and could not have imagined such an outcome. Thank you for reading!

I would like to add that it was a new customer who created an account just for this. The order was placed in early July and the registration date is the same. After he set the rating, he did not appear on the network.

That's so sad to hear.

Try to get some orders from your previous buyers. Is your gig still in the rankings? Your gig rating is still good.

Of course, it's a difficult time, but keep patience. Everything will be fine, I believe. You can also consider creating a few more gigs as well.

Thanks for the answer! The problem is that I can no longer use advertising for my gig to receive new orders. Old customers almost always order from me, but unfortunately this has no effect on my Success Score no matter how many orders i get.
