Navigating Fiverr Scams: seeking advice to avoid scammers

Question

Hey everyone, it's Jyoti here, a copywriter!

I started my Fiverr account with great hope just a week ago.

Since I was new to the platform, I barely knew how things worked.

And. little did I know that Fiverr has some issues with spam messages!

By the end of the first day, I almost fell into a scam.

I got a notification saying, "You have a new order".

I was so excited to work with my first customer that I immediately jumped into the conversation.

There was a payment link that asked me to enter my Mastercard details.

I opened it and gave all my details.

Then, a reply came from the other end, telling me to enter my bank balance.

I did that too, but I became suspicious at that moment.

My suspicion turned into confirmation when that particular account holder said I had to enter MasterCard details, not RuPay.

Thank God I was saved this time.

I got an adrenaline rush and was scared as hell.

I googled it and confirmed that I was talking to a Fiverr scammer!

Since then, I've been getting only scam messages but not a single real order!

I'm looking for ways to get my gig noticed and get real orders!

Can anyone offer advice on how to improve my Fiverr experience and avoid scammers?
