ID Verification Problems

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with Fiverr's ID verification. I tried to verify my ID using a clear photo of my driving license, but the AI couldn't detect it. I’ve seen other people mention the same problem in different threads.

Why can’t Fiverr use manual verification? They might be losing buyers because of this. Also, they didn’t even tell us that we only have three tries to verify our ID. After my three tries, they restricted my account. I reached out to customer support, but it’s been 24 hours and no response yet.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I encountered the same error and attempted the process 3-4 times, which resulted in my account being restricted. Subsequently, I downloaded the new updated Aadhar Card, and used it for verification, and the verification was successful.

However, the restriction on my account was not lifted immediately after verification. I had to reach out to the support team for further assistance.

I think the problem with their AI system is that it is not able to detect images of Indian driving licenses. I will try to use my Aadhaar, but I have already reached out to support and they are looking into it. I think they will manually approve it either way, or else tell me to resubmit my driving license and selfie.

Update: After contacting Fiverr support, I received 1 additional attempt to submit my documents and selfie again. I redid the process with a separate ID and was successfully verified.
